Hey all you bloggers it’s me Kelli and in this blog I will discuss about how our class is one big ohana. Starting on March 11th at night we will be leaving for Florida and for this long trip to happen we must be as close as a family. You may know the saying “Lilo: ‘Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.”
To be a family you must be responsible. Being responsible is not only putting your things away and leaving the rest of the mess for someone else just because its not yours. Or putting something that’s not yours away and throwing that person under the bus and say “Hey Mr. M (name student)_________ didn’t put their radio stuff away.” because then Mr. M would have to go and tell that student his/her wrong. So instead of going through all of that you should just do the right and don’t say the wrong even if you think it’s unfair because that’s what a responsible person would do. It’s faster and once you clean up you can just remind that person to put their stuff away so they know and remember to clean up next time.
To be a family we should take the time to get to know each other. Do you remember that quote of the first paragraph when I said “Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.” We should learn more about each other and to not have to ask others “What’s her name?” Or ask our selfs “I wonder what she likes?” If you take just a minute to get know others in the class you can learn something everyday. Even if it means meeting new people, getting to know the person you already know better, or just saying “hi” to someone you know outside of class. To take the time to get to know each other does not mean to talk to that person only because you’re bored and try to remember this quote below the paragraph. No one likes to be used, especially once you go to them on a day that your best friend is absent and talk to them and be all nice just because you don’t have anyone to talk to and the next day you see them you don’t even bother or take the time to just say ” hi.”

To be a family you say nice things and compliment each other. Most of us joke around and don’t notice that they may have said some stuff that is hurtful until it’s to late to take it back. Remember that what you say is how they think you think of them. So don’t be mean, don’t be cruel, don’t be the one that acts like a fool
I hope this blog has inspired many to be nicer and to treat other the way you want to be treated.
